Jason’s plan for Charlottesville is to keep the focus on you, the citizen.  As Treasurer, Jason will strive to promote service and efficiency, improving the quality of life for all who call Charlottesville home, by:

• Maximizing City Revenues through the impartial collection of taxes and fees due to the City, promoting the financial health of the City, and keeping tax rates low
• Implementing a new Integrated Tax Revenue System to maximize efficiencies and improve customer service
• Utilizing technological advances to expand online and electronic payment options for citizens and businesses
• Serving as a taxpayer advocate in the City by growing customer service initiatives and outreach programs
• Shaping tax policies that help protect citizens’ interests and promote the financial well-being of all
